93 Accord f20b Auto trans issues
I have a 93 accord with a 96 prelude OBD1 jdm f20b with orig. matched automatic trans (came with new matching ecu and tcm). Paid a "import specialist shop" to do this and have a few issues cant figure out.
1. no over drive (3200rpm @60mph - fine b4 swap)
2. shift lock wont release (new brake switch all fuses good - fine b4 swap)
3. no cruisecontrol (light comes on but steering wheel button wont engage - fine b4 swap)
4. shift points are terrible
5. getting EGR codes but EGR is brand new? no other codes
They did not use a swap wiring harness but did it their way i guess. Going back to them is not an option. They are a complete nightmare. Im on my own. Any ideas? THANKS A MILLION!

What was the code you are getting from your car?
Take a look at the ECU and TCU and post the OEM part numbers on them. I thought the 96 prelude had the H22 engine on it.
You will have to pull back the carpet on the passenger side and remove a plate to access the ecu and tcu. An example for for an ecu part number is 37820-P0A-A51, but this won't be the actual number for your ecu.

4th gen preludes did NOT come with f20b not even the jdm ones. f22a1, f20b (SOHC) and h22a are the only engines that came in the 4th gen ludes. It came in the JDM siR accord.
Also 3200rpms sounds about right. You have a short geared trans now. How many times does the trans shift? It should shift 3 times and that’s it (4 speed auto)
You have a h22 auto trans. The f20b is a obd2 engine your cb7 is a obd1 set up. So the wiring harness will be a must. Also your f20b could be a S-Matic Transmission. Did you swap over the auto shifter too? looks like this...
That's prob why your shift points are off. I would imagine your cruise control might now work b/c there is a computer for it. Since your cb7 is obd1 and the f20b is obd2. You might need the f20b computer.
This is what the CC CPU looks like...
It's located under the dash on the driver side left of the steering wheel
