Default 93 Honda Accord EX quick question

When I start my car it revs up higher than normal, I'm thinking it is taking in air from somewhere but everything seems to be where it should any suggestion on where I would inspect? Thanks for any help provided.

Look in the DIY section for a thread about cleaning the "FITV". That's the fast-idle thermo valve which is supposed to give you a high idle rpm when you start the engine cold. If it's TOO high, maybe that thing needs to be cleaned or tightened.

to add to the above advice; Be sure your coolant is full and the block burped thru the 12mm bleed screw at the T-stat housing.
