Default 93 window problem

Hi. new to this forum.

Have a 4 door 93 that we purchased new. The drivers side window will not "dock" properly when it reaches the top of the door frame...it shifts forward and air will seep & make noise at higher speeds. If I push the glass aft at the same time I hold the window switch in the up position, I can force the window to stay in the right place when it closes.
I recently replaced the window motor when it failed, but this problem was present before that.

How can I fix this???

I'd be willing to bet that you have one of these problems.... 1) remove the door panel with the window all the way down and look at the front edge of it, make sure that it's in that track or I guarantee you'll have the problem you describe, 2) lube the rear track, replace it if it looks horrible 3) there are adjustment screws for the motor/window alignment that you can work with.....

Let us know what you find!

where exactly are these adjustment screws?

We had this exact same condition just a few months after purchasing the car brand new, and the dealer did something to fix it...who knows what.
Now, 14 years latter, it is repeating the identical defect.
