Angry 94 Accord EX Running Rough

I'm new to this so I am hoping to get some advice. My son has a 94 Accord EX and I just got done changing the rack and pinion, front brakes and axles, and the water pump and timing belts. The problem is that after it warms up and only in gear it runs really rough between 1600 and 2100 RPM's. I thought maybe the balance belt was not right so I took everything apart again and re-checked and everything was good. It runs great in park. Changed the plugs, cap and rotor and didn't make a difference. Didn't do it before all the work. I took it for a drive today and it ran great until it warmed up and then it started doing it again. No check engine light on. I can put my foot on the brakes in gear as not to move and rev it up and everytime between 1600 and 2100 rpms. Unplugged the EGR valve and it does the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't really want to take it in after all the money I already invested.

Thank You;
Eric

Check and read about cleaning the EGR ports - not the valve, the chamber/plate under the injectors.

There is a how to.

Classic sym of clogged egr ports......let me guess, if you hammer the gas to the floor from a stop the car does "fine"? If an auto, you might think the trans is going....just as you take off in there is a skip?

Even if I'm wrong, have been before and will be, the egr ports are a matter of time. The cleaning of them should almost be a scheduled maint item...IMHO.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
