my 94 accord died on me luckily in my drive way, it sat for a few days as i was busy then i went to work on it. i noticed the fuel pump wasnt kicking on when i turned the ignition a few clicks, so i checked all the fuses, it was popped so i replaced it. the car fired right up and ran great for a day. then she died and 1nce again the fuel pump caught my attention as it didnt kick on. I checked all the fuses again and they were good. i did some asking around and got 2 probable answers. 1 the fuel pump relay was bad and 2 my pump was just bad i was just wondering if some 1 culd tell me whether that fuse poppin at first is a specific sign of something or not im in the process of selling it so this little situation is setting me back but any help will be really appreciated thanks

 

Does the CEL come on and the go off when the key is turned to pos II? I'd start there- test the Realy.

Fuel pumps do go bad, however my personal experience is that not many Honda fuel pumps fail without some other factor. Not starting a debate just giving my experience

 

which fuse exactly was blown ??
if you are sure that it is a lack of fuel for car not starting , you need to diagnose the issue,, KEY ON,, chk for power ( black/yellow) wire and ( BLACK ) ground at fuel pump,,,if you get both and no fuel to injectors most likely a bad fuel pump,, if you get no power at fuel pump chk the main relay
