Hi i have a 94 honda accord. 4 months ago when i bought the car it died on me in the driveway. at first thought was the fuel pump because you can hear the relay "click" but you dont hear the fuel pump turn on. Well i was going to order one and the next day just tried to start the car and it ran fine..that is until 3 days ago when it did the same exact thing, next day started up. my question is if the relay is clicking on then can it still be bad, or is it the fuel pump bcause when it does this you do not hear the fuel pump?Or am i a complete idiot and it is something else

 

It still could be the relay. It's sorta common for bad main relays to work OK when the interior of the car is cooler. Then they don't work when the interior is HOT like sitting in the sun.
