At this point, you'd probably lose money having to ship them back...
I'd keep looking for a RHD set, which would be hard to find, or start researching a projector retrofit. I'm sure there is a nice supply of right hand drive projector sets in JDM land. Hope you don't get offended by us calling Japan that, but you guys get all the goodies we don't

Sure not, Finch, i am an American just like you, the only reason i didn't get any Goodies here is because i don't speak Japanese... sux for me... well, i think i need to look around to see if there is anything i can use to help.
Since you already have the projector lights, maybe you can see if it's possible to dismantle them. Somewhere in the lenses should be some kind of blade that cuts off the top half of the beam, in a shape that's OK for USA regulations. Maybe you can remove that & install it backwards??
Pay attention to how it's installed, it'll probably cut off the bottom of the beam, because the beam is inverted as it's projected out forward. Flip it side-to-side so it cuts the projected beam down lower on the side with oncoming traffic, which is the right-side for you.
