Default 94 accord lost all power. please help, its my dd.

Okay, I have a 94 accord ex. Headlights started getting dim over several days. Battery light would come on every now & then. The battery is new, only a couple months old. This morning all the dash lights were barely even lit, same with headlights. Then it completely died. Couple hours later, it started right up.. several minutes later did the exact same thing.

Sounds like something has gone bad.

Check the alt belt tension. Have the alt tested, have the battery tested...
If the alt tests bad, "most" of the time it is the brushes which can be replaced with the alt on the car.....if you are up to it I will post/find a "how to".

If all of the above test fine, I'd inspect the crank pulley to be sure that the rubber ring is still holding.

Let us know what the tests show.

Yeah sounds like alternator. I had mine go last summer. The bearing locked up in the pully and burnt my belt up and the whole alternator almost caught on fire from the bearing being so hot. Hows the belt tensor like poor man said
