My girls brake lights stay on even after the car is turned off. I pulled the fuse for the time being. At first i thought it would be the switch. But before even looking for the switch i saw the broken pieces of the little plastic button that engages the switch on the floor mat. $2 fix. Problem is i cant find the hole to insert the plug/button. Do i have to unbolt something to get to it? In DIY section open acc 5th gen (94-97) thread and go to the link in there. The electrical pdf page 23-214 has the info for the brake switch.

 

#20 on the lever arm? Switch is #13 or 15.
