94 Accord LX no heat?
Okay, so I recently moved from Illinois to Florida and picked up a 5spd 94 LX, the heat didn't work, but I wasn't to worried about it since, it's Florida... But im driving back home for christmas to be with the Family and I kinda sorta need it working. So I did some troubleshooting and poking around (I know the heat system pretty well) and found that someone has bypassed the heater hoses from even going into the firewall. The hose that is supposed to be plugged into the heater control valve is clamped onto another hose going under the intake manifold.

Does anyone know where or what the hose is connected to?
I will try and get pictures later today.

From your description, the two hose ends that should be connected to the heater core nipples are instead spliced together (no looose end?). If that is the case, you simply need to relocate them. If you do relocate them to the heater core nipples, be careful not to damage the nipples as they are rather delicate.
Note, there may be a reason the hose ends were spliced together; the heater core may be leaking. No way to know but reconnect them and find out. Heater core is replaceable, but it's a big job requiring dash removal.
good luck

Well, here's where they're SUPPOSED to go. Maybe you can see what's moved around from this picture?
Previous owner might have done this because the heater core leaks? If so, then you'll have fun taking the dashboard apart to get the heater core.
ive taken out hundreds of dashes.
My most recent one being my S13 240SX.

Actually, now that I think about it, since the hoses have already been re-routed, can I just go buy a hose from Autozone or something and run water through it to test the heater core? Will it drip on my carpet/interior if it is cracked/broken or will it just drip inside the heater core box?
Yes, it is likely to leak into cabin if there's a hole in the core.
A short water pressure test w/ a gauge to monitor pressure (no more than 15 psi). Pressure should stabilize and hold.
You could try an air pressure test, but much more difficult to detect a leak unless you can hear the leak.
good luck

Heater core (#4) sits inside of a box that can probably hold a cup or 2 of water before it begins leaking OUT onto the floor.

That's a whole separate box from the AC evaporator, which has a drain for condensate to drain out onto the street.
