Hello all I have a 1994 Accord i bought a couple months ago. After 2 months of trying to get it smogged i am now on to the next venture in my accord. THE GUY RAN A KILL SWITCH! its super annoying. I can not really see anything wromg with the ignition so I am looking to undo his lame mistake. I found he has ran 2 wires from under the hood 1 from the starter and 1 from the battery. Now i was wondering (cause I have yet to tryit) if i just undo those wires if my car will start like its suppose to. Any help in this situation would be greatly appreciated

 

Kill switch or push start? I'm going to guess this is a stick and the only way the PO could get it started was to wire in a "push button"....If I'm close let me know if not please give a little more info on the wires?

 

When I got it it ony had to 2 wires that once you turned the ky you had to touch them together and it would start. I added a button to make me feel less like i was stealing.

 

Is it a stick/manual trans?

Sounds like there was an issue of getting power to the small wire of the starter, the owner before couldn't or did want to find the issue so they made the "hot wire"...
