94 Accord vtec drives fine, dies at a stop

It's on throttle body entrance near Top Dead Center. Hard to miss.

If it has never been touched - there might be a round rubber plug you have to remove before you see the "slotted" head.

I had a d4 flashing light and a CEL so I replaced the VSS and now the car doesn't stall anymore. I was reading about the VSS and read somewhere that it helps in downshifting when slowing down. It makes sense to me that with a bad vss the car would die when coming to a stop. The idle is fine and doesn't drop like it used to.

Glad it's fixed. Probably VSS and IACV cleaning both improved idle performance.
