when we shut the car off, within 3min that the lights on the heat vent selector panel will start to blink and then come on, also if the fan switch is on the fan will blow. when I turn the key back and forth a few times it seems to shut off but with no real ryhm or reason.
I pulled the face of the radio off so as to get to the wiring and wiggled everything that I could put my hands on, and I can't seem to make it come on or off. Well of course this is draining the battery so it wont start in the morning. I checked all the fuses that seemed to be of importance and found none to be bad. HELP!!!!!!!! I need ideas.

Just help fix this very problem on a car where the AC was removed and a connector behind the right headlight had a harness plugged into it, this harness was no longer needed so it was all coiled up and hidden behind the bumper. The Condensor Fan Relay and Compressor Relay were so corroded up that the two hot wires were shorted together through all the white powder corrosion.
The white wire which has power 24 / 7 was feeding the Blk / Yel wire which gets power when the key is on, BUT, the white wire was BACKFEEDING so the Blk / Yel wire was getting power prior to the ignition switch and doing exactly what you are saying, little push button LEDs are lit up and battery dies overnight.
Pull the Condensor Fan (or Compressor) fuse under the hood and see it the lights go out. Inspect the relays for corrosion and the connectors in the entire AC System under the hood that you can see. Are you able to take some good pics PLEASE for a huge project I am working on, I can give you guidance about the pics if you can help please.
I am a Honda AC guy and will help as much as I can. Explain the Heat Vent Selector Panel please, this is the Main AC / Heat Control Panel? Which lights are turning on please, specifically.
