Replaced multi function switch because of interment headlight operation.Now only brights operate with no dim function.Relays,fuses all checkout good,with power at fuse module and at headlight connectors.I am stummped...Please help

 

Does the blue high-beam light on the dash turn on and off when you use the new switch to turn on/off your brights?

Did the high beams only work before you replaced the headlight switch?

You can pull the dimmer relay from the under-hood fuse box (see below). See if the low beams work. The high-beams will not work with the dimmer relay pulled.

If removing the dimmer relay gets the low beams to work, then you will have to do some electrical tests on the relay and the inputs to the relay.

the blue light on instrument panel doesnt light ,and yes same problem before i replaced switch.,will try outher tests you suggest and update.Thank you
