94 Honda Accord EX 2.2L VTEC no start HELP
Hi I have a 94 Honda Accord EX with the 2.2L VTEC and one day it wouldn't start. We diagnosed it as no spark from the coil, power was drawn from the distributor to the coil, tested with a multimeter, but no spark occurs. We tried replacing the coil after the resistances didn't match specifications, but no spark occurred with the new coil. We then tried replacing the whole distributor and still no spark.
I did a little research that said the main relay might have failed but after taking it out and inspecting it I found no bad solder joints or any apparent damage for that matter. Another place mentioned the ECU might be faulty, with some popped, swelled, or burnt capacitors but after inspecting it, it appeared to be in pristine condition. Should I attempt to replace the ECU or is there something we may have missed. I am really at a loss and I need my car working asap I am spending all of my savings on a rental car right now just to keep my job.
Another symptom I noticed after the no start was that the D4 light flashes steadily for as long as the key is in the ON position.

Go to the common DIY thread in top of the gen tech help forum. Open the link to checking engine codes. Count the check engine light flashes, then repeat with the D4 flashes. Post any codes (and the light that flashed them) on here and we should be able to help.

Here is the sensor for each code:
1. O2 Sensor
8. TDC Sensor
13. Baro Sensor
14. IACV
All these codes can be caused by the sensor, the wiring, or the ECU. The baro sensor is part of the ECU, code 13. Since you had a code 8 and replacing the distributor did not fix the problem, I am leaning towards a bad ECU.
Before you consider replacing the ECU, please disconnect the ground on the driver's side of the upper intake manifold (see pic for g101 location below). Clean the bolt and eyelet with a wire brush or sandpaper, then reattach.
Reset the ECU by pulling the 7.5 amp backup/radio fuse for a minute. Turn the key to the II position, but do not start the car. After the CEL does the bulb check (turns on initially for about two seconds), does the CEL turn back on? If yes, please check your engine codes and tell us what you find.

Bought an eBay ECU which was listed for this car, appeared exactly the same, down to the stickers, plugged it in and put in a new battery because the old one went bad while the car was sitting. Tried to start it and still no spark.
I did pull that ground wire and their was no corrosion or tarnish. I'm trying to get this car working again for my little brother's first car so any more help would be appreciated.
