Hi all,

My '95 Accord EX-L windows and sunroof all have an E9 insignia on them, andlook just a bit darker than plain glass.

Do you know hat E9 stands for,? Just wondering if it has some UV/Heat blocking capability.

Not sure what E9 means but my 94 ex wasn't factory tint.... I don't believe it was ever an option that far back... not factory anyway.

 

My 95 V6 is. I know because the tint on the rear back glass is peeling as well as the tint on one of the rear windows. You wouldn't be able to tell though if the tint wasn't peeling

 

Do the windows/glasses say E9 on them?

 

I haven't noticed. Where does it say that? I'll check tonight (My wife drives the V6)

 

Right at the lower corner of the glass, where all the other labels are put on. So if you have your driver side window up, lookclos towhere the door lock is.

 

i doubt there was a factory tint on cars in mid 90s. they dont factory tint them now.
