Default Green tinted heat rejecting glass

I just got a 2001 EX V6 and the monterey label states it has green tinted heat rejecting glass. I was thinking about having the windows tinted as I have a black lab and would like to keep the heat down in the car. Is the factory installed glass good enough for my dog? Anyone have their windows tinted? If so, would you recommend having them tinted to others? Thanks for your replies!

I dont know, how dark are the windows? I would probably just have them tinted if I were you.

I think most windows are tinted to some degree, but I would agree with the poser. Tint them.

I've never had a factory tint that was enough to really do the job. Tint them.
