Default 95 Accord EX troubles

Hey guys, just bought a 95 EX and it has a few troubles I need to address.
First, it has a intermitant miss at idle and sometimes when taking off will really bog and barely move. It pops back thru the intake, but if you floor it it will finally take off like it should.
Second, the odometer is dead, but the speedo works, the gas gauge is also inop, does it need the sensor or another cluster?
Thanks

Not sure if the problem is with the cluster or a sensor, but you should check for error codes.

Follow the instructions on this link (http://www.dhost.info/accordinfo/howto/cel.html) and post any codes stored on your ecu or tcu.

I'll do that in the am, but the CEL is not on now.

Alright, ran out, no codes, CEL just stays solid.

The fuel gauge can either be from the fuel sending unit or the cluster. The odometer sounds more like the cluster to me.

Is the tachomter working properly?

The miss when accelerating is something real. Do the typical maintenance, air filter, spark plugs, dist. cap, dist. rotor. Check to make sure that the wires aren't arching (spray a mist of water of them when dark out and make sure that they aren't arching). You might also want to clean the EGR ports, because that can cause a miss when accelerating.

Yes the tach, and temp are working correctly. It is estimated that it has under 150k on it. It had 133k 2 years ago when it died. When it boggs taking off it will barely move than just takes off like normal. It bogged for about 10seconds than was fine. I got the car pretty cheap due to these problems, and figured it can't be to serious if it runs good at speed.

Okay, just pushed in the maintanence reset button and the odometer is working again. This could prove to be interesting.

Drove it some more and it just won't run when taking off unless you floor it, never dies, just boggs and pops. Will get a good tune up done first of the week.
