95 EX vtec suggestions
Ok, folks. Can I get some ideas?
95 EX (vtec) 4 cyl auto. Need, I think, to replace the o-ring from the head to the vtec soleniod. So in the dark, with a flashlight, two of the three are a piece of cake. The lower one, well that is where I'm not sure.
Got a few ideas on "how to get there" but I was wondering if someone that has done it before had any tips....who has done this, how did you get to the lower bolt?...yes, I have ideas, the manuals from the DIY, Haynes and Chilton manauls and did a search the best I knew how to, also looked at a few other sources....but I'm looking for additional information.
If nothing else, I will confirm if it is leaking and if it needs to be replaced. Then, if that is the source, I'll figure it out one way or another this weekend "how to get it", just wondering if someone could save me a little trial and error time.
Thanks....

Do NOT use a boxed-end wrench, or you will strip the bolt. Guess how I know?
If I had to do over, I would drain the coolant and remove the thermostat housing. That should give you enough room to get to the lower bolt using a socket and proper length of extensions.
