95 Sunroof Stuck
I just bought a 95 EX and opened the sunroof for the first time it opened right up no odd noises and didnt seem sticky... now when I go to close the roof it stops with about 1/3 of an inch to go. If I look at the roof it appears to be damaged on both corners about tennis ball size dents on each.
I've tried moving the switch back and forth to see if it would go any further, but I can hear the motor working too hard once it gets to the stopping point and dont want to burn it out. I've also tried prying the corners up to see if it were something I could resolve simply by pulling the body up and away from the track, either not strong enough or not the issue. though with the damage on either corner my guess is that is it.
Thanks.

I have a 97 accord with a sunroof. Is yours Stock? In my car (which 95's are the same) there is a little clip in the roof behind the dome light and you can pry that out and use the tool in your trunk to manually close it.

Thanks for the detailed reply, thats very helpful however I feel like I didnt do a good job explaining the problem as the motor is working just fine it just cant seem to close all the way as if there is some blockage or other damage to the area preventing it from closing just a tad.
