Default 95 V6 - P1361 and P1381 codes

Need help again guys. I degreased the engine today (never do that again!) and afterwards the engine stalled out. Anyways, its starts right back up but once I step on the gas it dies out. Put the OBD on it and got codes P1361 Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor Intermittent Interruption and code P1381 Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor Intermittent Interruption. Also the "E" on the OBD is flashing which is the EGR monitor. I went ahead and replaced the ignition coil without any success. Now I need to know where else to look. I'm gonna try the spray bottle on the wire trick and see what happens. Don't think its a fuel prob cuz it starts right up and runs until i apply fuel then cuts out. Am i wrong ? Why did it happen after my dumb a$$ cleaned the engine? That's kinda why I'm suspecting electrical/ignition problem. Help me "Honda Brains"!!!I'm limited on funds til Thurs so may take back the coil to get the part to actually fix it. Then on Thursday I'll replace everything. Need to get it fixed ASAP!!! Its my family car. HELP!!! Sorry for the long winded post!

That code you got is for the cylinder position sensor intermittent interruption. That sensor is behind the timing belt cover on the passenger side of the engine. Look for a wire harness coming out from the timing belt cover and a 4-wire connector. Clean out that connector and make sure it is dry before you plug it back in. Hopefully you only got some cleaner in there.

Default What are codes p1361 and p1381?

What are codes P1361 and P1381 and where should I look to fix it? Car starts but won't stay running and stalls out when I give it gas. I think code P1381 said " cam timing advance is excessive". NEED HELP ASAP!!! THANKS

I think on the V6's these are sensors are inside the covers. I'd start with checking the resistance and also inspect the wires......

P1361 Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor Intermittent Interruption
P1381 Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor Intermittent Interruption

Ok found out that P1361 is Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor A (Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor) Intermittent Interruption. And that P1381 is Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor Intermittent Interruption. What do I need to fix or replace? Thanks again in advance!

Thanks Poorman! My voltmeter is at school so I think I may just go replace the wires. They look pretty worn. Hopefully that takes care of the prob.

I merged your posts together and changed the tilte. That way we can follow the whole story.

If the wires or connectors look bad than that would be the best place to start.

Replaced wires and ignition coil and so far nothing. Cleaned connectors and used some compressed air to blow dry connectors with no luck. Out of funds til Thurs and need car tomorrow! Really frustrated right now! Where exactally is the "cam position sensor" and the "top dead sensor" at?

The TDC/CYP sensor is located behind the front camshaft. It's a combo sensor (Top Dead Center/ Cylinder Position sensor). Look near the front valve cover for a 4 pin connector attached to the oil dip stick tube. The sensor usually doesn't go bad often. It probably is due to water, grime, etc. in the connector or something happened to the wiring. It number 17 in the following diagram.
