Default 96 2.2 ROH Conversion Question

My rotors are bad and I would like to do this conversion while I am at it.

https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...nversion-3151/

The above thread says that I need:

98/99 2.3 Acura CL rotors (or 98-02 2.3 Accord rotors)
98/99 2.3 Acura CL Hub Assembly (Hubs and Bearings)
98/99 2.3 Acura CL Steering Knuckles

DIY - Rotor Over Hub Conversion - Honda-Tech

But this thread above does not list steering knuckles but rather:

1998 Acura 2.3CL Front Hubs OEM part # - 44600-YS8-A00
1998 Acura 2.3CL Front Rotors OEM Part # - 45251-S84-A01
1990-1998 Accord Front wheel bearing OEM Part # - 44200-SM1-008
1990-1998 Accord Front brake pads OEM Part # - 45022-SY8-A01
New Cotter Pins

Differences:

The first link says that I need Acura 2.3 Front Hub ASSEMBLY, which includes the bearings. The second one says I only need the hubs but I need bearings that fit my car. Which is it?? And do I need the steering knuckle from the acura?

What I think I need:

98/99 Acura CL 2.3 Front Rotors OR 98-02 Accord 2.3 Front Rotors
98/99 Acura CL 2.3 Front Hubs
96 Accord 2.2 Front Wheel Bearings
96 Accord 2.2 Front Brake Pads
New Cotter Pins

HELP PLEASE! My rotors are so bad.

If you are buying used parts from a salvage yard get the entire knuckle/hub assembly off the CL. Problem solved. I don't blame you for doing the switch because future brake work will be much easier. Keep in mind you will want to grab the calipers and frames too. Also, if you have 14 inch rims I think the CL has 15 inch so you may have to get the rims too so you have clearance on the calipers.

I did the conversion on my 95 accord and posted my results in the first link you referenced.

All you really need is the 98/99 CL Hub and the 98/99 CL rotor (same as the 98-02 Accord rotor). The bearing and knuckle on the 94-97 Accord are the same as the 98/99 CL. I'd highly suggest getting a new bearing, because pulling the old bearing from the accord hub will likely destroy it. You can use the accord caliper and pads (I think these are the same as the CL too, but can't remember).

I bought the entire CL knuckle, because it already had CL hub and CL (same as the Accord) bearing installed. As I said before, the knuckle is the same as the accord, so swapping the whole assembly was easier for me. I didn't have the tools to press the hub into the bearing.

Hope this makes sense.

Previous 2 responses nailed it. Most people find it easier to just replace the whole knuckle with everything attached, as its only 3 bolts you have to remove. But yes, you can use your stock knuckle if you want to tear everything apart and replace stuff.
