Default 96 accord ac issues

Hey guys,
I have a 96 accord ex. Lately the clutch doesn't engage when i turn the air on so i have been knocking it in with a bar on the ennd to engage it and it works about 5 mins then the air gets hot again. Do you think its a fuse issue or is there a way to check the clutch itself to see if it's shot.
Also i pulled a fuse a couple weeks ago and every light in the dash came on and now i cant get them to go off? Do i have to go pay a dealer to reset or is there a different way?
Thanks alot.

chk the clutch gap..........should be .012 to .024 .. if too wide, set it to the smaller setting as close to .012 as you can

You will have to determine if the compressor is losing power on the one wire (red) that goes to it when the clutch disengages.

If there is always 12V, then it could be your clutch gap or the clutch coil. If you lose voltage, then the next step would be to inspect the relay.
