the supplement is usually for additional specifications and more odd-ball model specific stuff that may not have been available at the origonal time of print... At least that's what I understand it to be..

I thought everything was fine now.. new fan (works) and both come on with A/C now..but I never got the fan to come on from normal driving, temp. gauge around 3/8. jumped the plug at the Radiator Fan Switch and fan came on.. so I bought a brand new Radiator Fan Switch.. today I drove around alot more even, temp. gauge went closer to 1/2 at times, and I'd stop and check and fan was never on.

When feeling the hoses, the upper radiator hose is pretty hot.. I can hold my hand on it, but pretty hot compared to the lower which is warm but not nearly as hot. Could my switch have not been bad in the first place, but something else (water pump/thermostat instead?) I finally thought I had it all figured out and the switch was an easy fix.. so now, fan $55, Switch $21.. and no luck still..

if top hose is hot and lower hose is cool or warm,, first thing you do is to replace the thermostat ,, use a Honda t-stat,, make sure to bleed the cooling system after replacement of t-stat

Sounds like a t-stat issue, I'm having similar type of thing with mine.

So the fan switch replacement might have been pointless? I could return it to use $ towards a t-stat

About how much should I expect to pay for a t-stat?

I have just been researching the same thing. First, only a genuine Honda t-stat. Other oem types have drastic differences. Second, you're looking at around $25.
