Hello I have a 96 accord lx 4 cylinder non vtech engine. Today when I turned the engine off this crazy noise started. The noise wouldn't stop so I disconnected the battery.The car won't start again and the noise just doesn't stop unless I disconnect the battery. I know it is not the fan on the radiator as that stopped working today when this happened. The noise is coming from a specific part of the engine but after searching online for hours and still cannot determine what the part is or what the problem may be. I really have no way to describe this problem so I shot a quick video.

That is the starter, can just be bad.

 

Thanks man. Got one from the local scrap yard and put it in after watching a youtube video. Took about an hour this is my second repair. I didn't have the capital to have someone else work on it. Did the same thing with the alternator. I love teh internetz.
