Default weird starting issues

Whats up fellas, I'm having some weird starting issues. The car only wants to start properly ounce, maybe twice a day.
It starts and runs great the first time, but if you shut it off it will only start for a second and then die and will not start for another 6 to 8 hours.
I'm thinking it might be some kind of flooding issue, but that is just a guess....any ideas?

Oh yeah, it is a 94 accord ex with the vtech f22.

well.....did you check to see if the fuel pressure regulator is leaking?

can you check fuel pressure?

can you keep it running if you hold the gas pedal straight to the floor while attempting to start it when it normally would die? once it starts up and seems to start reving release the pedal of course. (clear flood mode - it also explains this in the owners manual of all places)

No, haven't checked regulator...but I did try to hold the pedal down and start with no luck.
What type of gauge will I need to check fuel pressure?
