OK, that's interesting. Still, if you clean it up & watch, you'll get a better idea of exactly where it's leaking from.

thanks toeach of you for all your help.. i cleaned up the engine block really well.. so maybe now i'll be able to tell where its coming from if at all.. someone told me that the oil might have been filled too high???hmm.. so i changed the oil again to be sure.. and lets just say that it didnt look too great.. it was horribly black and filthy.. maybe thats the reason the oil light came on??? would dirty oil make the light come on??? i will keep an out for leaks now that everything has been cleaned and the oil has been changed..

Check PCV valve and hoses. If hoses block up or check valve fails closed, the crankcase pressure is vented directly into the air intake, and substantial oil will be consumed. The air intake just downstream of crankcase air outlet will be coated w/ oil if this is the problem.

good luck

Default Cylinder Head Oil Leak

I purchased my 1995 Accord LX in March 2011 and the seller told me that the head gasket was done, but oil still leaks. I used a small mirror and a flashlight to look at the spot where the oil was slowly coming out and discovered someone drilled a little hole on the cylinder head side wall - right side of the timing belt cover, where no one could see it readily. The seller must had took his car to a repair shop that really needed "return" business. Anyway, I used used liquid gasket and pushed the gasket material into the hole. The leak stop. Does anyone know if liquid gasket material will hold?
