Today i was driving home after running a few errands and between lights i noticed my engine running slightly off...
I stopped and when i started to let out the clutch and gas it again, it jumped forward, as if i was dropping the clutch ..
i clutched it again, and still, anytime i touch the gas it lurches forward and continues to run really rough...
I doubt they are connected but today i had my oil changed and my summer tires put on...

any help? anyone?

 

Does the engine run rough when you are in neutral? If not, then maybe pushing the clutch pedal is not fully releasing clutch.

Check all ends of both battery cables for clean/secure connections. Are the routine maintenance items up to date (i.e. spark plugs, dist. cap, dist. rotor, etc...)?

 

Can the problem be captured by saying the clutch engages way too close to the floor? If so, then maybe a hydraulic problem. Air in the clutch hydraulic lines or maybe the clutch MC going bad?
