Default 97 Accord, creaking sound, moonroof

Hi
I have a 97 Accord. I'm having problems with the moonroof. Or at least I think it's the source of the problem. Above my head I get a creaking sound. I thought it was just going over bumps but now it seems to happen at anytime. I think it's coming from the edge of the moonroof but I'm not sure. It doesn't make the noise when I open the moonroof just when I'm driving. I don't know much about cars. I'm not sure if this is just a problem with it being an older car or if it's something that can be fixed. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it. It's really starting to drive me nuts!
Thanks

when was the last time you lubed the tracks? mioght be time.

Also a lot of Honda owners use felt tape around the outside edge of the glass panel to help eliminate the rubbing sound. Car is 10 years old and things are bound to creak especially if the car has over 100K on it.

Hi,

I seem to have almost similar problem. My roof squeaks while opening. I didnt pay too much attenton to it but I have not been able to figure out if it is due to unlubricated tracks or the motor. Is there any specific way to lubricate the track? Mine is 1994 honda accord EX. Can I use silicone spray for the lubrication?

Thanks
