Hi I have a 97 Accord LX with a 2.2L F22B2 engine non vtec with a 5 speed manual transaxle, and I was needing a diagram of where all the vacuum hoses are and what they go to. On my intake manifold there are four places where vacuum hoses should go, I just plugged them up because when left off the idle fluctuates wildly, so I plugged them up and it idles at 750 rpm like it should but when I turn the wheel while not moving or when the AC compressor cycles, the engine bogs down lower than 500 rpm sometimes. The engine also hesitates sometimes on acceleration, I have an aftermarket air filter that is getting crushed by the hood and the battery when the hood is closed, but that's another thing I have to fix and design a way to fit it where the old air box used to be. Also, when coming to a stop, when I press the clutch in it will bog down a lot of the time too. I have a P1491 code that says low EGR lift and was thinking that might have something to do with the engine bogging and slow acceleration. I also need a vacuum diagram of where all the hoses go, I would appreciate it if someone can find me a diagram of that particular car, I've looked online but could not find a clear picture. Also, is there a flowchart to follow for diagnosing P1491, if so it would be a lot of help if I had something like that too. Thanks for any help I may get.
