Default 97 Honda Are there adjustments in the window track/ channel

I just replaced the seal on my wife's 97 Honda Driver Door. I took out the window and the power (motor) drive assembly/center track and the front channel and pulled out the whole seal. Then I laid in the new seal.

Now when the window comes up it jumps the track near the top and I also notice it comes up at an angle ( tilted downwards to the front).

I'm going to tinker it with this afternoon. I'm going to unscrew the window, and shove it all the way to the top by hand . Then I'll zero out the drive motor assembly at its topmost position with the switch and hope that the screw holes from the drive assembly match those of the window.

The attached image shows the instructions if the door glass jumps the track.

RedBull's pdf plus the video below should get you through installing the window properly.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the help. When I got back to the job yesterday, I found missing nuts, loose nuts and shoddy workmanship. I 'm usually very very careful. And to top it off the window glass tipped over and landed on the garage floor with a crash. Some of it was me, some of it was winter.

I really appreciate the help PA Honda and Redbull!

There is some adjustment room at the bolts that attach the window to the regulator. When I replaced both front window regulators on our '96 I had to fineagle with the positioning to keep the window in the tracks.

I'm not thrilled with Honda's design here -- but at least it's easy to replace the parts.
