Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and so far its pretty cool. Ok well the other day my 98 Accord started having the battery light come on in the dash and slowly ALL the lights came on. I took it to Autozone and they said it was the battery and altinator after doing some tests. So I replaced both and I'm still having the same issue. Back in 07 I had a similiar problem and it was a relay. I called the shop to find out which relay it was and all they could say was ''its a main relay''. I have another vehicle but thats down for some work and this is my only car so I need it running right. Please help any and all input would be great. Thanks

 

When my alternator was going bad, the battery light came on. When my battery was bad, that light didn't turn on.

I would take the car back to autozone and have them retest the battery and alternator. It is not uncommon for a remanufactured alternator to be bad out of the box.
