Default 98 Accord LX 2.3 is running rough

Figured I'd ask On here to see if anyone has any ideas. Swapped my motor for a JDM not I can't get the car running right.

It idles fine. When I hit the throttle get to about 2000rpm then just cuts out.

New o2 sensors
new plugs & wires

Is check engine light on? If yes, what codes presented?

Suggest you check cylinder compressions and confirm crankshaft/camshaft timing is aligned.

Make sure spark plug wires are correctly routed.

If you have a scanner, what are Long Term Fuel Trim and Short Term Fuel Trim at idle w/ fully warmed engine?

good luck

What are the wire colors going to the map sensor? The throttle position sensor?

From looking at pics online and the pics I had on my phone before I pulled the motor I am pretty sure I had those plugs backwards. Changed them around and it revved fine.

When I went to drive the car today it started to Rev eraticly. Now it revs from 1000-2000 rpm consistently.

That could be because of low coolant or a vac leak. Check the coolant level first.
