Default 98 Accord Starting Problem

Today after driving 5 miles, I made a stop, then tried to start car. Car crankedbut kept dying. I waited 15 minutes and tried again and the car cranked fine. The rest of the day it has ran fine also.We have had hot weather for weeks and today was close to 100 with a 115 heat index, in case this may help with figuring out the problem. This is my 4th honda and it seems like this happened with one of my other Accords and Ithink itturned out to be a sensor. I called my regular mechanic (former Honda Dealer mechanic) and asked if it sounded like another sensor problem? He said I would have to bring it in to see. I asked would it have the problem when I was there and he said yep. We all know that car problems usually don't show up when you arrive at garage Curious what yall think of some of the things that can cause this. I would like to get it fixed now, rather then broke down in the middle of no where. Thanks in advance.

Trouble starting in hot weather sounds like the main fuel relay. When your car doesn't fire up, try to listen for the fuel pump to turn on for about 2 seconds when you turn the key to the on position. It is a whirl sound coming from the gas tank. It is a faint sound so you might need someone else to turn the key to the on position while you listen at the gas cap.
