98 accord TL seat swap
Hello. I already did a search and could not come up with the answer that I needed.
I have a '98 accord EX straight4. I have the power to only the driver's seat and it only controls up and down motion. I would like to swap in the TL seats of a similar year. They are fully powered and have heating. Will the power from the up/down feature be enough to power the seat heaters, or will I have to run a line from the battery?
Thanks

RE: 98 accord TL seat swap
chances are seat heaters draw lots of power, heating elements tend to do that.
However, the might be TEC heaters, which would draw substantially less power than the traditional toaster-style, but either way you might want to consider putting them on a seperate higher-amp fuse.
try looking up the fuse Amperage for the power seats and wire an inline fuse directly from the battery (or somewhere else).
