Question 98 Accord Transmission

HELP!! I have a 1998 accord 4cyl automatic that needs a new transmission. What accord year models can I use? Will a 92 work? The number on the 92 trans is:m24a-2003753

No, the 6th gen to my knowledge can't use an older trans. (not sure about the 5th gen)

Gotta use 1998-2002 4-cyl.

Up to 1997 the transmission had a control cable from the throttle down to the transmission. Beginning in 1998 that function is done with software.

Beginning 2003 the 4-cyl changed to K-series engine with a COMPLETELY different transmission.
