Hello all, I am new to the forum. Have a 98 accord ex v6 170k miles. it is throwing egr port code. I need to clean the ports but I am not able to take egr off....the bolts won't budge. Tryed using liquid wrench and all kinds of penetrenting oils with no luck. My question is would seafoam do the trick? Mechanic quoted me upward of $300 for new egr and to clean the ports.

The EGR valve doesn't need to be removed to clean the port. The intake manifold needs to be removed. Watch this video on how to do this.
