I have a 98 Accord Coupe with a mind of it's own. When I'm driving the wipers will start up and I can't turn them off. I notice when this happens the right blinker doesn't work as well. Has anybody ever had this problem? I ended up taking out the fuse for the wipers other than that the car has been perfect. Any help would be much appreciated.

Possibly a bad combination switch or faulty wiring to the switch.

There are some continuity tests that you can do to find out if the switch is making proper contacts. A shop manual or a Haynes manual will help out a lot.

The online manuals thread in the DIY section has a 6th gen accord shop manual. I think that it is for the European accord, but there shouldn't be much difference.
