Power windows won't work on passenger side if driver side control
is pressed. If your sitting on the passenger side both power window controls work.

Power doors locks won't work anymore.
Checked the fuses and they are good.

Recently my battery went dead but I don't think that would
caused these problems??

First thing is this welcome/newbie area is just for welcome & introductions. Not actual tech questions. So I'm gonna move this to Gen.Tech. where it belongs.

In 98 I think the EX has multiplexers to do the windows & stuff, but the LX doesn't. But here's the reset/restart procedure for the multiplexers anyway. Let us know if that works, so I'll know if I'm wrong about that.

- Key OFF.
- Set intermittent-windshield-wiper control ring to the middle position.
- Key ON.

Otherwise, it seems like it's a problem with the switch pack in the driver's door. If it were a bad window motor it wouldn't work with the local switch either.

I guess you re-booted the multiplexers. Those things control stuff like windows & locks so you have fewer physical wires.
