I am the new owner of 98 accord LX and recently the wipers stopped working when turned on by the stalk on the right side of the steering column. They will make a swipe when you pull the stalk down. Does the stalk need to be replaced in order for the wipers to work properly?

 

sounds like you got a bad wiper switch...try wiggling the switch see if they work,,
