Is Check Engine Light on? If yes, check the codes for a clue to your problem. Most sensors are monitored and a sensor failure should set a code.

If you can monitor fuel pressure, check to see if fuel pressure is falling when engine dies. First place to start is why is engine dying; spark or fuel. You can monitor spark w a timing light watching flashes on one cylinder, but will need a partner to start and run car.
