When you unplugged the real IACV, you removed the computer's control over it. So the increasing idle doesn't seem like the computer's fault. Take the IACV off & clean it out? Maybe some crud from cleaning the TB has gotten in there preventing the valve from closing when the power is removed.

 

IACV is less than six months old...
