Default '99 Accord coupe...rear view mirror won't stay on...

I tried to figure it out but no dice.
I see the little metal clip...but for the life of me...can't figure out how it's supposed to hold the mirror on.
I don't know if everything is just worn,something is broken,or what.

That was actually exactly what I was looking for.
I tried it...and unfortunately...I think something somewhere is worn to the point that it just won't hold.
Looks like I'm searching for a replacement.
This is the first time I've ever dealt with a mirror that didn't have some sort of set screw to hold it in place.
I'm even thinking of drilling and tapping a hole in the mirror mounting base(the part attached to the mirror not the windshield)...and getting a small allen head screw to stick in the hole and try that.
