Default 99 accord new owner, first honda ever

Having a problem with evap system, nothing major, but I have a gas fume smell after driving and parking, yesterday I replaced the vent shut valve on the canister itself. Don't believe I've fixed my problem , I need help to identify the part directly in front/ alongside the canister itself on the front side of the vehicle. The attached pic is my exact setup I'm looking at, says it's the solenoid valve, just need confirmation, thanks for any help

Did you find the part number? I see this is a few days old so I'm not sure if you still need it or not.

No I didn't actually, I've replace two parts in the system so far, I think I may have fixed the problem, if not I'll take it to the shop, thanks for the inquiry.

What DTC (code) was presented? This will help isolate the fault.

I'll assume this is a 4 cyl car.

Next, search for Dorman 911-754 and 911-755 and see what you find.

Again, these things are called many names which makes getting the right one kind of hard.

P1457 as the code?
