Default 99 Accord v6 -power steering fluid leaking

Daughter took her 99 V6 to garage for service and to obtain a bid/opinion why her power steering fluid leaks out of canister.

She showed me the service bill and to fix power steering fluid leaking they would install an upper control arm kit for $199.00.

This didn't seem quite right to me, so I am asking if this is a possible solution to her losing PS fluid. She actually has to add some every 500-600 miles.

The upper control arm has nothing to do with losing power steering fluid.

Even if it was true that the upper control arms needed to be replaced, I can't see how that's related to a fluid leak.
