Default 99 Accord. Wont start after rain.

My 99 Accord (142K Miles) not starting these days after rain. Cranks well but does not srart.

It troubled me twice and it rained in the night. Today morning it was tempearture was 40.

I initially assumed it to be the bettery problem. Called Road Side guys and they said the battery is good. Didnt start with Jump Start.

Last time it didnt start but started well the next hot and dry day.
Tomorrow is hot and dry. I guess it will start well.

Any clue what wud be the problem and how much would be the cost to repair?

I am not the car person and hence dont want to be fooled by some mechanics because of lack of my knowledge.

Thanks for reading.

This is better in General Tech. so I'll move it.

If you want to check yourself, you need to figure out if it's lack of spark or lack of fuel. Open the rubber air duct to the throttle body & spray starting fluid in there. If it starts briefly then it's lack of fuel. If it doesn't even try then lack of spark. We'll go from there.

We will need to know if it's a V-6 or 4-cyl engine.
