I had just filled up the gas tank, and I started the car, and tried to shift into reverse. No go. I look in my owner's manual, and apparently it's some kind of auto tranny lock. I had to turn off the car, engage the e-brake, remove the plastic plate around the shift, and insert the key into this hole before I was able to put it in gear again. I took it home and tried it again, same thing. The manual says this means there is "something" wrong with the car (I'm going to beat Honda for this ridiculously broad and intrusive warning), and I need to have a Honda dealer check it out. Could this be any number of problems, or does it pretty much always mean the same thing?
