Default 99 eccord ecu help

I have a 99 accord and it has a h23a engine swap from the accord wagon sir. I bought this car and the obd2 ecu and it wont communicate with the emissions computer. I was I told to get an obd1 ecu. Do I need a to get the obd1 ecu or is there a way to get the obd2 ecu to work with my car?

The ECU (aka PCM) is the emissions computer.

Tell us more about what is happening with your vehicle? How and who determined you needed an obd1 PCM? What is the honda part number of the current ECU?

The accord wagon trim is the sir. And my mechanic said that I needed the obd1. Ther is something wrong with how it is communicating with the emissions test.
