Default 99 LX A/C Nightmare!!!

Hi guys. I new to the board, but there seems to be some real nice people on here willing to help folks out. Hope I can find someone with some answers for me.

OK, bought this car late last year, 99' Accord V6 Auto, with existing A/C issue and not sure how long it had been going on. Problem is there are no power to the control panel. No ***** work or buttons work. Everything else around the control panel works fine. Radio, interior lights all good. Checked all the fuses and they all are working fine. What could be causing this problem?

To make matters worse, the heater is still on. Can't turn it off without the controls and it is a little hot here in Houston. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You can remove the control panel and test the wiring to ensure that you have the correct readings to each pin. You will need a volt meter and a shop manual to do this. There are inexpensive sources on Ebay where you can download the shop manual as a pdf.

Thank you for the advise. I ordered one on Ebay, but the V6 options were a little more. Hope I can make heads of tails of it when it arrives.

Yes, there is an after market CD player installed. Could that be the source of the problem? Could only imagine who/what might have installed it.
