You could look for dirty/loose/corroded connections at the wiring harness. Besides that, I don't think there's much you can do other than replace the unit.

Did the bleeding yield anything. A small can of fluid and a few minutes, dang hard pouring fluid in the abs res, could save some time and cost.

I actually haven't had a chance to bleed the ABS yet. . .but I'm going to soon. What fluid do you all recommend using?

Also, I have found a thread that outlines the bleeding procedure, but what is the procedure for actually replacing the modulator unit?

I would suggest downloading a 94 shop manual. The Online Manuals thread in the DIY section has a hondatech link that has the 94 manual. That will give you pretty detailed instructions on how to replace it.

The basic idea for replacing it is you disconnect everything, unbolt the unit, & install the new unit.

The rest of the story is all the details. What do you have to dismantle just to get access to the ABS unit? If your steel brake lines are OK then those just screw into the new ABS unit. If you need to replace sections of tubing, that makes the job more difficult.

After installing the new unit, you have to bleed the brake system and the ABS system.

Got it. I was just looking in there, and it looks like I'm going to need to pull the power steering pump to gain access to the steel brake lines. Also, do you recommend a standard wrench, or a line wrench? Also, what size?

I don't know what sizes, but a line wrench works so much better than a normal open-end wrench.
